The Lunara Dress

A fluid, midi-length dress crafted in batik on linen, defined by its textured indigo pattern of hand-painted brush strokes. The silhouette gently flares for ease and movement, creating a balance between structure and softness. Designed for everyday elegance, it carries the quiet depth of artisanal dyeing in a contemporary form.

We believe that our clients would love to know how our garments are made. 4 meters of linen are crafted to make this outfit. The brush strokes are first created with wax on the fabric to create the resist and are then dyed in indigo. Then, the fabric is put into hot water to melt the wax. Finally, it is washed in cold water to achieve the resist-dye technique of wax batik. Our tailor semi-stitches the garment and prepares it for the detailing. After all the detailing is completed, it goes back to our tailor for final stitching and finishing. The dress doesn't require lining.
