Thoughtfully produced in Delhi at a fair-wage, small-scale factory. Fabric waste is minimised by upcycling scraps into patchwork textiles, staying true to our zero-waste ethos. Each piece may come with an extra embroidery or patch but the overall look and feel of the piece are not changed. These pieces are a part of a limited edition collection, the stock is made till the raw material is available.
THE DESIGNER STORY
Recycling has always been a deeply rooted tradition and part of our lives, be it the tradition of making Kantha quilts out of the old clothing or transforming your mother's vintage sarees into a trendy attire. We have always valued the resources we had and loved to be a part of it and felt connected to the old charm and warmth, but all that is changing. Increasing industrialization, globalization, fast fashion, and ever-growing buying power among people have popularized a culture of quick disposable fashion.
The label DOODLAGE is a blend of sustainable and exclusive high street fashion. The brand aims to merge innovative designs with a sustainable technique of clothing to make fashion not just chic, but also Eco-friendly. The brand works at re-designing, re-constructing and recycling good quality industrial waste which majority comprises of post-production waste, deadstock and rejected shipments making sure that every product has its own identity.
