This relaxed-fit versatile checkered shirt features a stand collar, a front opening shirt placket with shell buttons, full sleeves with gathers at the cuff and is handcrafted with premium handloom fabric made by the weavers of Bengal, India. The fabric uses naturally dyed yarn, free from harmful chemicals. The regular and comfortable fit of this shirt makes it an easy to style garment and can be worn effortlessly all day long.
THE DESIGNER STORY
A sustainable brand from Udaipur, Rajasthan, Maati believes in incorporating sustainability at every step. Their fabrics are produced in-house and the wasted yarns are upcycled to create another type of fabric which are used in their collection. The colours are naturally sourced and mixed with Aloe vera so the colours don't bleed when hand washed. The brand works with women near Jaipur and has converted an old government school building into a production house.
