CURATOR'S NOTE

A textured and foiled brass statement ring that is worn over two fingers. The piece is finished with a gold dip polish and sits beautifully with both ethnic and contemporary wear.

THE DESIGNER STORY

Set up in 2015, Studio Metallurgy draws from industrial design and nature, which is synonymous with precision, accuracy and clean lines. Metallurgy as a brand name was originally a tongue-in-cheek play on the pun ‘metal.ur.G’ akin to a code for jewelry lovers like me.

The designs are experimental, simple, elegant and contemporary that make a statement and become meaningful conversation starters. To observe and take inspiration from everyday objects and adapt traditional techniques and crafts to create something new and contemporary, hawk like attention goes into the making of each product. The focal point for us is understanding the inherent characteristics of different materials and yet amalgamating them, such that the inherent textures are enhanced further and lend themselves to beautiful and functional art pieces.

Delivery: 7-14 Days
Care Instructions: Avoid moisture or any liquids. Avoid contact with perfume.
Do not use any cleansing agents. Wear your jewellery the last and take them off the first. After using wipe jewellery with a soft cotton cloth and store in the packaging provided when not in use.
