CURATOR'S NOTE

Feel the texture of free flowing threads, spun with all the coolness of an evening breeze and made chic with lines and colours created to compliment an ideal environment of slow moving exultation. Basik Linen, brings easy movement to the geometry of urban living, creating a mellow cadence in its presence. Move, Breathe, Live. Handcrafted by the Batik artisans, this series in color invokes a warm and welcoming feel.

THE DESIGNER STORY

Mired in the diversity of stories and craft in India, Rayden is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Parul & Mooshir Vahanvati. We are on a mission to make everyday [objects] beautiful, one extraordinary product at a time. We strive to create objects that foster unique experiences. Our work is inspired by life and it’s precious moments that we want to share with you. We hope to bring you a little joy, some smiles and lots of magic. We use the finest materials, technology and resources to fashion remarkably crafted objects. This is what places our work at the intersection of art and design.

Material: 100% Cotton

Care Instructions: The hand block printed batik product is crafted in pure cotton. Each piece is one of a kind, and may differ in its appearance from the image shown. We recommend dry cleaning of the products. If not possible, hand wash separately and use a mild detergent. Dark colours tend to bleed. Drip dry in shade and iron on the rear side of the product.
