Through the Endangered Tote collection, we are focusing on raising awareness for 9 select species found (or not, in some cases) in & around the Indian subcontinent (Scan QR). A limited edition, upcycled tote bag lineup with quilted exterior for added comfort and sturdiness. Consciously designed with functional compartments for everyday use. THE DESIGNER STORY

Darzi, translating to tailor in Urdu, is derived from the Persian root ‘Darzan’ which means ‘to sew’. Urban Darzi is an extension of this. We are an upcycling platform navigating a circular economy through design thinking. Repurposing all things considered 'waste' through a steady framework of responsible design practices, onto everyday living products, we focus on smart design, circular & conscious consumption and on taking responsibility towards our culture, community & environment. Our core values enable us to re-imagine the fashion (and lifestyle) industry through a lens of symbiotic codependency with our planet, our partners, our community and our team that makes for an ethical & responsible approach towards being.

THE FINE PRINT

Fabric: Made with deadstock yardages and discarded scraps of leather with handcrafted, upcycled badges representing each of the select species

Delivery: 12-15 Days  

Care Instructions: Being upcycled in nature with different fabrics having different organic properties, we recommend a dry clean or a gentle cold wash with line dry.
