Curator's note

Carved from a single block of solid brass, our madison bottle opener carries measured weight to deliver the right balance for the hand. Our production of the opener is a marriage of both machine and handwork and takes a total of nine separate processes and numerous hours to complete. The result is a durable bottle opener that provides the right grip and a single open mechanism.

The designer story

Tachi is a Bombay based company that makes personal goods. Their products are handmade by revival craftsmen in small batches and are created with ethically sourced materials that are found from within India.
