Curator's note

The concrete cushion covers are inspired by textural surfaces. A juxtaposition of the rough, irregular appearance and the soft tactility; an expression of combines senses. The collection features a play on shadows and light, the darker geometric shapes are bordered with intricate embroidery and are embossed creating an unexpected touch . The imperfections of the textures give each cushion cover a personality of their own.

The designer story

In a world full of clutter, Subtract is meant to make you take a step back from an unceasing continuum. It pays attention to the more elemental and everyday aspects of life.

Bringing you a small part of this intangible consciousness through our products, bound together with pure forms, precision, and simplicity using only the essentials, Subtract is minimalism in design, material and thought - everything stripped down to the bare minimum. A product, yes, but also an invitation to live simpler.
