Curator's Note

This beautiful red colored saree has been hand woven with linen yarns and then meticulously embroidered  with authentic floral hand embroidery in the front for enhanced elegance.
The piece is ethically created by using fabrics made with sustainable fibers that use less water and dyed naturally in pure fabric of linen with the hints of zari.

At Kavana, we uphold the diverse artisanal culture of India and the prosperity of the environment. To embrace and keep the expression of humanity alive, we consciously design each apparel to last and carry forward the legacy of handcrafted apparel created with love and chastity. We are here to weave an eloquent shift between the livelihoods of artisans and the textile industry, and believe in the preservation of indigenous crafts like Ajrakh Printing, Jamdani, Kantha Embroidery, and others that represent India's rich art cultural heritage.
In our sustainable and ethical approach, we cater and foresee all the facets of our apparel’s lifecycle – the fabrics, the methods of creation used and the care of our artisans. We combine the traditional skills with environmental well being to leave a positive impact on the earth.
