The designer story

Chokhi Chorri is a Kolkata based women's Pret wear brand founded by a NIFT alumni Ankita Agarwal. The word "Chokhi Chorri " is derived from the Marwari term, meaning "Beautiful women". As a brand, we believe every woman should feel beautiful in her skin, size, color, and her choices.

We have always defined our brand as one that Sustainably creates and Ethically curates fashion. The language of our brand is Contemporary, Minimal, and Timeless. Seeing the absence in the Light occasion wear market, we decided to fulfil this by creating #notsoboringsustainablefashion with our intricate handcrafted embroideries and details. Inspired from various Indian crafts, our silhouettes are suitable for all body types to go global with our culture and the depict our Indian Handloom.

A collection celebrating rich hearts filled with love and innocence. Inspired from the Royal miniature paintings, it brings out the subtleness and intricacy of the beautiful crafts we inherit. An elegant amalgamation of fine fabrics, earthy tones and intricate hand embroidery.
